Printing

Cloud printing from the member portal.

Deskie includes a built-in printing system. Deploy the free Deskie Print Server software on an existing computer, or use the optional Deskie Print Server hardware device. Once running, the server automatically discovers printers on the network and sends them to Deskie. Members and guests print by uploading files from their portal. No drivers, no configuration. Set per-page pricing for black-and-white and color, separately for members and guests. Member charges are added to their next invoice automatically. Guest charges are invoiced and paid immediately via Stripe.

Install the free Deskie Print Server on any always-on computer, or plug in the optional hardware device. The server discovers printers on the local network and syncs them to Deskie. Pricing, access, and print options are all managed through the platform.

Per-printer control

Each printer has its own settings. Set separate pricing for members and guests. Choose who can print. Configure paper size, trays, quality, paper type, and duplex. If a printer needs authentication, enter credentials in Deskie so users never manage them.
