Why Stripe?
Deskie uses Stripe for payment processing because it's reliable, widely supported, and handles everything from credit card payments to ACH transfers. Each workspace connects its own Stripe account, so payments go directly to you.
Connecting your account
Go to Settings → Billing and click "Connect Stripe." You'll be redirected to Stripe to authorize the connection. If you don't have a Stripe account yet, you can create one during this process.
Per-workspace keys
Deskie supports per-workspace Stripe API keys. This means each workspace in your portfolio can have its own Stripe account, keeping finances completely separate. Enter your publishable and secret keys in the billing settings.
Testing payments
Before going live, you can use Stripe's test mode to verify everything works. Toggle test mode in your billing settings and use Stripe's test card numbers to simulate payments without real charges.
