Notification types
Deskie sends notifications for key events across your workspace:
- Booking confirmations — When a member books or cancels a resource
- Invoice notifications — New invoices, payment reminders, and receipts
- Access events — Door access grants and revocations
- Member updates — Welcome emails, password resets, and profile changes
- Admin alerts — New signups, overdue payments, and system events
Email configuration
Deskie uses SendGrid for email delivery. Your workspace's emails are sent from your configured sender address, so members see your brand, not ours. Customize email templates in Settings → Notifications.
SMS configuration
SMS notifications use Twilio. Enable SMS in Settings → Notifications and configure your Twilio credentials. SMS is great for time-sensitive alerts like booking reminders and access codes.
Member preferences
Members can control their notification preferences from their portal settings. They can choose to receive notifications via email, SMS, push notification, or any combination. Respect their preferences — Deskie never sends notifications to channels a member has opted out of.
