Assets & Resources

Adding Assets

Use this page when you need to create something in Deskie that is permanent, recurring, and billed every month - like offices, dedicated desks, parking spots, mailboxes, or membership plans.

Assets are the backbone of Deskie’s billing system.

If something has:

  • a fixed monthly rate,

  • a recurring assignment,

  • and is tied to a physical or ongoing membership,

…it’s an Asset.

What would I classify as an Asset?

Assets are the items in your space that people “hold” month-to-month:

  • Private offices

  • Dedicated desks

  • Flex/monthly memberships

  • Parking spaces

  • Storage units

  • Mailboxes

  • Long-term add-ons

If it feels permanent or recurring, it’s an asset.

Adding an Asset

Fill out the following:

Name

This is what your team will see (ex: Suite #201, Desk #14, Parking Spot #3).

Location

If you have multiple locations, choose where this asset lives.

Category

Select the type (Office, Desk, Parking, Other).

Categories help keep reporting clean.

Size (optional)

Useful for offices - square footage, locker size, etc.

Monthly Rate

This is what Deskie will bill automatically each month when the asset is assigned to a member.

Images

You can upload photos to help staff quickly identify the space or item.

Notes

Asset Notes are internal only - members never see them.

Use this section to record things like:

  • Paint or maintenance history

  • Damage or repair notes

  • Previous tenant info

  • Anything your team might need later

Summary

Adding an asset in Deskie is intentionally simple.

Name it → Price it → Save it → Assign it.

Billing happens automatically from that point forward.

Whenever your space grows - a new office, an extra desk, a new parking spot - you can add it in seconds.
